Professional areas of interest
My interests begin with the preservation or quick restoration of optimal health. I practice across the entire scope of Family Medicine, from newborn to elderly. I am a firm believer in open communication with my patients, as well as empowering them with education about health preservation or disease management. More specifically, I have a special interest is sports medicine, dermatologic procedures, weight management, cholesterol disorders, diabetes, hypertension, and general pediatrics.
Personal Information
I was born in Portsmouth, VA, and moved to Overland Park, KS, at two years of age. I grew up in OP and went to high school at Saint Thomas Aquinas, I graduated from the University of Kansas and I am a huge KU sports fan. I have been married to my lovely wife Diane for six years. We have two boys - Adrian (4) and Liam (2) that are full of energy (to say the least.) I have many interests outside of medicine which start with spending time with my family and friends. I am passionate about all Kansas City sports (even though we never win anything.) I am an avid Ultimate Frisbee player, which helps keep me in shape, and enjoy snow boarding, cooking, golfing, biking, traveling, photography, and SCUBA diving.
