Our History

We are Clay-Platte Family Medicine Clinic, PC, and we are the largest medical clinic in Platte County, Missouri. Our physicians are Board Certified Specialists in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. We are located in the Northland of Kansas City and serve patients from across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. The majority of our patients live in Clay, Platte, and Jackson Counties in Missouri and Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas.

In 1995, Drs. Ortiz and Granger founded our clinic with a stethoscope and a dream. Our dream has grown - thanks to our wonderful patients - to the medical clinic we are today. We have been listed as one of the best medical clinics in the Northland. Our patients come from a diverse demographic background as do our healthcare providers and staff. We take satisfaction in providing excellent benefits and working conditions for our employees and they have rewarded us by taking excellent care of you. I have focused this clinic on improving the quality of care that we give to all of our patients. Our continuous commitment to quality primary care is exemplified by our becoming the first clinic in the Kansas City region to be recognized for our care of patients suffering from Diabetes by the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
